Maybe 285 grams means nothing to you. Good. It means this EZONE is easier to organize when you are late to a backhand, rushed on a return, or discovering that split steps are apparently not optional. You keep the same roomy target as the standard EZONE, but there is less racquet to drag through the point. Against heavier pace, timing has to help. That is the trade. Buy the racquet you can still move late in the set.

From the baseline

The 100 L keeps the broad EZONE power-and-spin brief while making preparation easier. The measured 310 swingweight is substantial for a 285-gram frame, so this is quick rather than flimsy. Heavy incoming pace remains the clearest place the missing mass can show up.

On serve

The lighter build helps the racquet get moving overhead and supports spin without a long wind-up. It supplies less automatic weight through a flat serve than the standard 100.

On return and at net

Quick organization helps on rushed returns and reaction volleys. Against a hard incoming ball, clean timing and a firm hand matter more because the frame brings less mass to the meeting.

When contact wanders

The same 100-inch ISOMETRIC shape gives contact useful room. The lighter frame can recover quickly when preparation slips, but off-center impact against pace will feel less settled than it does in the standard 100.

Yonex establishes the exact identity and family role. Tennis Warehouse's measured sample and the selected exact-model video support very high maneuverability, useful power and spin, and less stability than the standard 100.

THE LIMIT

The interpretation is stronger than the review volume.

There is no four-player exact-model playtest equivalent to the standard 100. The Genome therefore leans on exact specifications, a measured retailer sample, limited owner feedback, and an exact-model video. Park Tennis has not tested the racquet firsthand.
