Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Park Tennis Gear Guide at parktennis.com and the Park Tennis App at app.parktennis.com. We collect what we need to run these services, send the list, and—with your permission—learn what is useful.

What we collect

If you join the list, we collect your email address through beehiiv so we can send the Gear Guide.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may receive page visits, link clicks, referral source, approximate location, and device or browser information. We do not send your email, name, profile details, or session contact information to Google Analytics.

How we use it

We use this information to send the Sunday edit, review product ideas, understand what tennis players care about, improve the site and newsletter, prevent abuse, and keep basic business records.

Who helps us run it

We use service providers to operate Park Tennis, including Framer for the Gear Guide website, Google Analytics for consented site and App analytics, beehiiv for newsletter signup and delivery, Supabase for App authentication and data, Notion for product workflow, and affiliate networks or merchants for outbound attribution.

These providers may process information for us or collect information under their own policies when you use their services, forms, emails, links, or checkout pages.

What we do not do

We do not sell the Gear Guide email list. We also do not ask for payment card information on this site.

Cookies, pixels, and affiliate links

Google Analytics is blocked until you choose Allow analytics. Your choice is stored for six months in a first-party cookie named pt_analytics_consent, scoped to parktennis.com so the same choice applies on the Gear Guide and App. Affiliate links and newsletter emails may use their own tracking under the relevant provider policies.

You can change your Google Analytics choice at any time using the Analytics choices control on either site. Choosing No thanks stops Google Analytics and removes the Google Analytics cookies that Park Tennis can access; you can also manage cookies in your browser settings.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email.

You can also write to us to ask for access, correction, or deletion of information we reasonably control. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, or recordkeeping needs.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as we need it for the Gear Guide, curation workflow, security, legal compliance, and ordinary business records.

We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no website, form, email platform, or storage system is perfectly secure.

Children

The Gear Guide is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
