You have probably looked at a Blade and thought: yes, but do I have to be that good? The Blade 100 is the version that does not make you audition. It is for the player who likes picking a target, notices when contact feels clean, and still occasionally meets the ball somewhere near the edge of the strings. The 100-inch head adds mercy without turning the racquet vague. You still need to swing through the ball; it will not finish the point while you admire the paint. But it gives you Blade feel without asking you to prove that you deserve it every third shot.
